- 略歴
日本画家。富山生。本名は栄次郎。富山県立工芸学校で中島秋圃に学び、卒業後は東京美術学校日本画科、同師範科に進む。川端玉章に入門したのち脱退し寺崎広業に師事する。文展で活躍したがやがて画壇を離れ、晩年は仏典と和漢の詩歌、哲学書を読む生活を送った。昭和40年（1965）歿、79歳。
