明治〜昭和の日本画家。埼玉県生。本名茂吉。松本楓湖門下。同門に速水御舟。今村紫紅らの赤曜会に参加。再興院展で入選を重ねる。日本美術院同人。帝国美術学校教授。昭和８年(1933)歿、43歳。
