- 略歴
江戸後期の絵師。字は子藻、号は華渓、通称要人。京都四条派の祖、松村月渓（呉春）の異母弟。兄呉春に画を学び、花鳥画をもっとも得意とした。同門の岡本豊彦とともに四条派の様式を確立し、その発展・隆盛に尽力した。天保14年（1843）歿、65歳。

- The painter Matsumura Keibun (1779-1843) received his first art lessons from his older half-brother, Matsumura Goshun. Keibun inherited Goshun's studio of the Shijō school of painting afterwards.
